There’s always a sense of excitement in the air, while at the same time a lot of hard work and some frustration, while hanging prints for a new exhibit. The planning has been done, supplies are at hand, and still the unknown happens. There is always problem solving in every venue to perfect the display of the images. Spacing images needs to be fine tuned. Hanging on a suspended wire means there is a tilt that’s needs to be adjusted. The frames are free floating so leveling is almost an art form. Making it a team effort really helps the process!
When we were finished, we walked around, surveyed the overall impression of our many decisions the past few months, and agreed all is well! We are ready for the exhibit to open September 29! Rooted in Beauty is on the walls, ready to be viewed!
A few images from the installation of the tools we brought to aid in hanging.
